this was newly available in the tasting room. showing really well, with layer after layer of plush red fruit, ranging from red cherry to plum. Nice acidic backbone. Well balanced. Med(+) finish.

this had a really nice assortment of spice notes that were more prominent. much more complex and interesting than the evenstad, though not quite as concentrated. really like the spice here.

lemon pudding, light papaya note, oak and acid well integrated and balanced. could use more concentration and complexity, but fairly tasty, if a bit overpriced.

lots of red fruit on this -- red cherry, raspberry. soft acids are pleasant. lacking some structure.

I was a fan of this. nice acidic verve. spice box, sour cherry, mineral. great example of acid-driven pinot. tannins a bit grippy. Would be better with food than the flat block.

more ripe fruit than the SE block. plum, strawberry, violets. soft tannins. nice finish. I prefered the SE block, but this is well made and would be a pleaser early on in life.

odd cleaning solution note on the nose (i made sure it wasnt the glass). fades on the palate, with ginger and apple, but the nose is off-putting here. structure shows some class.

If this is the "basic", it says good things about this portfolio of 2014s! Light red raspberry fruit. light tannin is well integrated. drinking well.

knockout notes of raspberry with some beautiful herbal notes on top -- sage, forest floor. shines on the lovely finish.

deeper fruit profile vs the eileen. red plum. still some herbal notes. most seemed to prefer this, but i preferred the complexity of the Eileen. splitting hairs though. softer profile, with beautiful tannins.

I liked this the best of the "Ladies". Really in the sweet spot, as it hd more heft, but still so fresh and so complex. Raspberry, ripe bing cherry. some herbal notes, with a pleasant leafiness. well integrated soft tannins. med(+) finish. A delight.
