clear, pale purple ruby; clean, medium nose of blackcurrant, avocado, mint, grass, cocoa, tar; dry, acidic and very tannic, light body, blackcurrant, red apple, honeysuckle, lemon zest, grape jam, leather, tar, coffee; vastly different from a Burg, somewhat like a very watered-down Merlot or Grenache, but in a way, bit enjoyable given its lightness... indeed, Languedoc seems a very wrong region for Pinot, in that such wines face the real danger of becoming uncharacteristic
