Brilliantly resolved. Peach and apple fruit. All in harmony. Gorgeous.

Magnificent. Like a Coche with bubbles. Reduced and grippy, but amazing depth.

35-40 years old apparently. Earthy, bruised apples, prickly, some toast. Like an old superior cider. An agreeable curiosity

Piney, sharp, laser-like focus - distinctive

Milky and dusty - lots of grip - I wasn't charmed by this.

Alive and very drinkable. It's earthy, fresh sharp and quite austere, for all the sense of raspberries and sweetness in the middle. Bracing and interesting rather than delicious.

Broad fragrance, quite sweet and utterly delicious.

Tobacco nose, despite the grip at the end the impression is of softness and plushness - very attractive.

Very oaky, but this not a problem when there's this much fruit. Delicious

So much sap, fresh, lean, cherry fruit, long too - my favourite of this trio of burgundies

My faculties failing at this stage of the evening, but my memory is that I was quite taken with this dark mysterious wine.

All I remember is that this was as superb as you'd expect.
