Medium yellow, light mousse. Toasty nose. Full, bready, dry finish. Good.

White - Sparkling
N.V. Drappier Champagne Brut Nature Zero Dosage Sans Ajout de Soufre France, Champagne
Dull yellow. Fine, active bead. Full, dry, creamy with citrus pith. Minerality and slight austerity at the end which suggests a little further aging. Lovely, and my favorite of the flight.
White - Sparkling
2007 Bollinger Champagne La Grande Année France, Champagne
Medium yellow. Active bead. Some hydrogen sulfide. Relatively light for Bollinger. Early fresh cut green apple, then more typical caramel, creaminess, and oxidative notes. Nice acidity, soil, and length. Good, but I recall liking it more a year ago when it was fresher.
White - Sparkling
2009 Alexandre Le Brun Champagne Cuvée Revelation France, Champagne
Light yellow, moderately bubbly. Very toasty. Medium weight, excellent round clay feel, leesy. Dry, earthy, and I don't get much fruit from rather neutral flavors. The best part is the texture, but not enough.
White - Sparkling
2011 Michel Arnould & Fils Champagne Mémoire de Vignes France, Champagne
Yellow. Medium sized bead. Bright citrus aromas. Lighter feel. Moderate dosage, then tart, herbaceous finish. Odd sweet/sour contrast that is not at all meshed together. No.
Rosé - Sparkling
N.V. Bollinger Champagne Brut Rosé France, Champagne
Pink with an amber tinge. Lightly effervescent. Attractive strawberry and apple aromas. Medium weight. Noticeable moderate dosage, fruit has more of a black cherry quality in the mouth, soil finish. Good but in the end, too sweet.
Rosé - Sparkling
N.V. Michel Arnould & Fils Champagne Grand Cru Brut Rosé France, Champagne, Champagne Grand Cru
Rosé color, transient mousse. Full bodied. Simple, sweet cherry and some finishing soil. Where's the acidity?
Rosé - Sparkling
N.V. Gilbert Jacquesson Champagne Brut Rosé "Cuvée Eugénie" France, Champagne
Deep pink, quite frothy. Forward, cheery strawberry aromatics. Light to medium weight. Some sugar on the attack but then brought back by good acidity and lots of soil, so ultimately not as sweet an impression. Better balance than the Arnould rosé.
