January 17, 2018 - Agree with my 3/24/2017 tasting notes, but it's improving with age; I think peak is still a few years away. If this were still at the $35 price, I'd be buying a half case. At $50, I'm holding off.

March 24, 2017 - Meunier is primary, with good body and sweet apple. A nice, rich golden color, perhaps from the reserves aged in large barrels. Wonderful at the old price of $35, but it just jumped to $50; at that price, there are other Grower/Producer wines I'd choose over this (but it beats out almost all $50 Champagnes from the big houses).
