Rosé - Sparkling
2004 Ruinart Champagne Dom Ruinart Brut Rosé France, Champagne

Floral aromas with lots of apple and strawberry,. Great aromas, with flavors one small notch behind. Very forward, fun and accessible. Plenty of apple with some berry hints. As always, Ruinart Rose 2004 is the Rose for Chardonnay lovers.
White
2012 Bouchard Père et Fils Corton-Charlemagne Domaine France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru

Superbly rich with lots of ripe orchard fruit and plenty of semi-sweet spice. Kept getting bigger and denser with more time in glass. Very long and powerful finish. Moderate structure, I'd think this best to enjoy in the next decade.

2009 Hospices de Beaune Mazis-Chambertin Cuvée Madeleine Collignon Dujac - His Eminence Cardinal Tuppatsch and Flock France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru

Open almost 2 hours before serving. Ripe black cherry with grilled sausage aromas and flavors. Ripe and meaty with good+ concentration, very good length and excellent balance. Kept getting better with more air. Drinking wonderfully now, this should evolve beautifully over the next few decades.

Red cherry and Asian five spice aromas with floral hints. Similar flavors with rounded, soft textures, moderate weight and good balance. So beautifully and prototypically Vosne. Very good now, so much smoother/better vs when last tasted 4 years ago.
