Typically Sauvignon to smell, some flowers and peach or tropical fruit. Rich, toasty and buttery in the mouth. Nicely textured small bubbles and some development from the short time it has spent in bottle so far. Good basic Sekt.

Complex nose, some vegetal smells mixed with blossom. Medium weight in the mouth, some sour apple tastes. Quite a savoury wine with a bitter edge to the finish. Interesting and unusual Friulano blend. Very good.

Thin and pale, some cherry smell. Tart and lacking body. There's no need to drink this.

Pleasant blackcurrant nose with some spice. Smooth and oaky in the mouth, medium bodied and relatively soft tannin. Lacks a bit of acid and the oak is rather too prominent. Still decent wine.

Mostly plum with interesting soy sauce type smell. Oaky and full bodied, with enough acid and substance to stand up to it. Smooth and rich, with quite a sweet finish. Not quite to my taste but not bad.

Quite light nose, blackberry and blackcurrant with something herbal. Very smooth and elegant in the mouth, nothing sticking out. Well balanced but generic. Obviously decent quality but boring.

Bright smell of cranberry and violet. Medium bodied and high acid, but quite substantial in the mouth, although not hugely tannic. Nice dry finish with just a touch of spicy wood. Very good.

Vaguely fruity smell, light body. A bit of smoke. Characterless but drinkable.

Juicy red fruit and pepper smell, some orange or lemon. Medium bodied and silky in the mouth. Cool and fresh and quite mineral finish. Interesting and enjoyable.

Pale in the glass, blackberry smell. Medium bodied but very tart and surprisingly lean. Drinkable.

Tobacco and plum smell. Young and tough, very tannic without quite the fruit to match. Nevertheless ok.

Quite pale in the glass, herbal and blackberry smell some spice. Medium bodied and quite round in the mouth, relatively high acid and some oak noticeable. Just enough freshness. Good.

Subdued mineral smell, light cranberry or blackberry too. Medium bodied, high acid, refreshing and elegant with a long finish. Very good.

Light fruit nose, red fruit, raspberry and something vegetal or stemmy. Light bodied and smooth in the mouth. Medium acid and almost tannin free. Interesting wine.
