04/05 pairing. Both drinking great - very clean and very fresh. Nice richness and fruit is starting to mature with lots of flint and herb. Slight nod to the more robust and opulent 2005.

Direct from the Domaine to dinner. So fresh and at the same level as the Ramonet Batard bottles. Lovely maturing fruit that shows plenty of depth. Still fresh. Impressive.

Wow, hadn't heard of this producer but it was a true marvel for 30-45 minutes. Crazy layered and sneakily intense nose of earth, mushroom, clay with still fresh fruit. Silky texture. While it lost a notch over time, it still held up. Great bottle.

A real treat, but unfortunately this fell short of sky high expectations. Just never really gained the complexity or depth I was expecting. Beautiful, elegant fruit with nice subtleties and proportioned balance. Very good, but no more than that.

Infanticide. Refined and pure, for sure. But this has so much more potential.
