Beautiful, complex and expressive bouquet with tobacco, smoke, leather, vanilla and other sweet spices. On the palate firm cherries, autumn impressions, good acidity, firm, still drying tannin and a good length. This is a 2007 which will probably benefit with a few more years of ageing. 92 - 93

In the bouquet vegetable soup and tertiary organic flavors. On the palate licorice, chocolate, ripe fruits, mushrooms and other tertiary impressions. The wine was stored in a proper cellar since release, so we wondered if this is an off bottle. Not sure and no score.
