White
2018 Trinchero Sauvignon Blanc Mary's Vineyard USA, California, Napa Valley
89 points
Retailer tasting. Grapefruit, grass and jalapeno notes. Nice acidity. Flavors of grapefruit, jasmine and just a hint of grassiness here too. Nice.

89 points
Retailer tasting. Notes of strawberry and carnation blooms. Strawberry and melon on the palate; crisp underlying acidity. Very nice. Counoise (about 40%) along with grenache and mourvedre. 89+ pts.
Red
2015 Simi Cabernet Sauvignon Landslide Alexander Valley USA, California, Sonoma County, Alexander Valley
88 points
Retailer tasting. Notes of black currant, plum, cassis and pepper. Plummy dark fruit on the palate. Drying tannins turn slightly austere through the midpalate and finish. 88(-).
Red
2016 Ferrari-Carano Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley USA, California, Sonoma County, Alexander Valley
92 points
Retailer tasting. Deep inky crimson color. Notes of currant, cherry, plum and spice with a subtle meaty undertone. Abundant dark sauvignon fruit on the palate showing more plum in the finish than anything. Touch of spice lingers too. Very nice. 92 for both Domino and I.
Red
2016 Robert Mondavi Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley USA, California, Napa Valley
92 points
Retailer tasting. Notes of cassis, lavender, black cherry, violets and kirsch. Plush, with velvety tannin and loads of dark fruit-plum and currants. Medium tannins. Hints of oak spice in the finish. Really nice weight and mouthfeel.

A bottle, courtesy of the sales rep, Jamie, paired very well with prime rib. A nice weeknight steakhouse wine at this price.
