I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've written a note on an Armenian wine. In any case, the nose here is pleasant, with a slightly sweet, candied quality, showing a touch of pineapple candy and a bit of herbs. The palate isn't complex, but there's enough going on to hold interest. A nice touch of acidity to keep things fresh.

We ordered this thinking the assyrtiko and malagouzia would give us a bright crisp wine; this isn't that. It's a much richer wine, showing a slight caramel hint, and some floral skin contact flavours as well. Nonetheless, pleasant enough to drink, but we were looking for something a fair bit racier.

Kind of anonymous -- tastes like fairly modernist Bordeaux. The nose is a little creamy and there's definitely some oak that pops out there. Good amount of fruit, and there's some dustiness that's quite enjoyable, but the finish is marred by an excessive amount of bitter oak.
