Mid gold colour. Lemon, honeysuckle and honeycomb with some lanolin as well. Good intensity up front, this has good freshness as well. Medium length and depth. Drinking well now.

White florals, slate, chalk, sea spray and honeydew melon. The palate is explosive, with incredible intensity and acidity. Deep and long with exceptional energy and verve. Stunning wine.

Orange peel, smoke and apple. Slightly spirity with a touch of bitterness, it's fine at first but as it warms up I like the characters less.

From half bottle. Golden colour. Orange peel, lychee, tangerine and honey. Tangy acidity, with beautiful freshness and lift. Medium depth and length. Feels timeless - travelling extremely well even from this 375ml bottle.

Salmon coloured. Earthy, smoky, strawberry and herbs. Subtly detailed across the nose and palate, this has good acid profile and the savoury notes also shine through. Has interest and even some structure. Great to try.

Floral, black berries, redcurrant, steel and spice. Cool fruit profile upfront and shows restraint and cut through. Drinks really well already in its youth, with good precision.

Blind. Rhubarb, cherry, oak, pepper and licorice. Palate is slick, with some oak standing up and only just the fruit weight to balance. Medium-good length but I wish the oak was dialled back a touch.

Liquorice, redcurrant, roses, cherry - very fragrant on the nose. Bright and vivacious palate, the red fruit character shines through and this displays very good length and composure. Really well balanced and setup well for the future.

Blind. Redcurrant, tobacco leaf, chocolate and graphite. Soft and approachable palate, this is open and well balanced. Not one for the long term but in a good spot now.

Blind. Olives, pepper, blackberry and oak. Dense on the palate, with a lot of tannins gripping hard. Doesn't provide much pleasure at this stage.

Blueberry, tobacco, spice and blackcurrant. Really good flavour density and lift, with well proportioned structure underpinning. Shaping up well, but another 10 years should see it really shine.

Blind. Mint, leather, fur, pencil shavings and cinnamon. Palate is resolved, with good savoury edges to it. Drinking near its peak right now.

Cherry cola, pepper, redcurrant and roses. The palate is tinged with sweet fruit, with good lift. Still has structure sitting behind it, and I think with another 5-6 years age this will be in a good spot to have another look.

Coincidentally the second time in a week that I tried this. Tar, red cherry, redcurrant and spicy oak. Good power behind the sweet fruit - this will show very well given enough time.

Spices, cherry, herb, slate and plums - plenty of savoury spice on the nose and palate. Great balance already, with power and structure as well as early interest. Super youthful as expected, this has decades ahead of it.

Blackberry, raisin, blueberry, cherry and olives. The palate is approachable, with good restraint and clean acidity. Another 10 years will be no problem for this wine to start showing at its very best.

Strawberry, cherry and pepper. Light bodied palate with more of that spice and pepper along with good length. Decent value for money to be had here.

Leather and earth - menthol and barnyard that comes out more with air - some florals behind the meaty notes. Savoury and meaty on the palate as well. Plenty of character but I'd worry about the barnyard taking over in some bottles.

Floral, cherry liqueur, earth and spice with some toast as well. Good layers of flavour and depth here - a step up on the last two wines.

Lemon, mandarin, pineapple and honey. Fresh, bright and light on its feet. Clean acid line that cleanses and refreshes the palate. Fantastic wine, it is delicious and balanced with plenty of drive. Time on its side to show even more.
