The house Champagne at restaurant Tribeca and one of my favourite aperitifs, elegant and stylish, with a very attractive balance between mineral freshness and fruity generosity.

Relatively soft and succulent style, gentle spicy oak influence, generous, good length.

Salty, ripe citrus, lovely mineral freshness and intensity, green apple, ripe acidity, good length.

Ripe fruit, green apple, tight and salty but juicy and supple, good persistence.

Supple and juicy, sweet apple and ripe citrus, easy drinking, salty persistence.

Marsanne, Roussanne, 10% Viognier. Lovely weight and spicy depth, floral lift and a touch of apricot.

Aromatic green herbs, ripe citrus, hint of yeasty complexity, medium body, harmonious and balanced, flowers and bitter orange, good length.

Hemel en Aarde Valley Ridge. Ripe fruit, citrus and tropical, lovely freshness and minerality, oak needs more time to integrate but is perfectly judged, very good length.

Supple and juicy, flowers and spices, hint of tar, peaches and cherries, tight and fresh, clean and transparent and expressive, good length.

Spicy, smoky, red meat, mature aromas for age, good weight, firm tannins, lovely balance, very good length.

Linen and chamomile, white flowers, hint of earth, waxy and steely, very good length.

Sweet and juicy, fresh and tropical, apple and flowers, quite fluffy on the finish.

Sweet and juicy, strawberry, citrus, melon, soft, elegantly sweet, good length.

Opened as an impromptu gesture during the Bau / Sobecki dinner - I had a full case in the car, parked across the street. It has not suffered from the journey from Freiburg to Heeze, it was as delightful as when I first tasted it in the courtyard at the estate.
