Juicy banana and lemon peel. Very fresh but some nice brioche toast as well as light exotic honey on the nose.
Really pretty yellow flowers. Very high quality rich style of Chardonnay up there with the likes of Aubert & Peter Michael for example. Similar style too.

May have been in a somewhat closed down stage. Showed a lot of promise but I wanted more and I felt it wasn't giving what it could.
Plummy, dark charcoal, smokey.
Palate is moderate complex but showing just lots of purple fruit right now. Would love to revisit down the road.

Wanted more here just like the '09 Greer tasted alongside! Dark spicy cherries, soy, anise, burnt caramel and roasted plums. Not as aromatic as wanted from this CCS - sign of the vintage? Somewhat limited notes.
