White
2011 Hubert Lamy Chassagne-Montrachet Le Concis du Champs France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet
Nice lifted, inviting aromas: curry leaves, ginger accompany by some ripe yellow fruits. Lovely balance on the palate with saline minerality and bright acidity leading from start to the clean, decent length finish. Drinking really well now.
White
2017 Jean-Claude Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru
This is deeper as well as riper and rounder than the Lamy served before it. Showing touch of smoke and elegant sweet fruits and yellow flower. Similar profile on the palate too with lovely length and depth. Thanks to the preparation (decant for 2hours), this is rather open and expressive. Youthful for sure, but very well balanced and approachable. No problem to go further.

Red
2015 Domaine Y. Clerget Pommard 1er Cru Les Rugiens France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Pommard 1er Cru
Decanted for 2hours. Very dark color. Nose of very ripe dark fruits, blackcurrant? Spices, earth and touch of wild/funk. Very good depth, power and structured along with sweet dark fruits and slight edgy, firmed tannin. To me I feel this is quite extracted and with oak present at the back. Too young? I'm not sure as my exp with this producer is limited. Maybe time will tell.
