White - Fortified
N.V. Kopke Porto 10 Years Old White Portugal, Douro, Porto

Burnt orange and almonds with a medium amount of sweetness.
The acidity is good but overall, the alcohol is dominating the aftertaste.
Overall, a nice wine but also a bit simple. 88-89p

Quite dense and sweet. Dominated by burnt orange peel and hazelnuts/almonds.
Decent acidity and the alcohol is better integrated compared to the 10Y Tawny.
Overall, a nice wine but only marginally better than the 10Y Tawny. 89-90p

Lovely flavors of Orange and Mandarin with a touch of hazelnuts and vanilla. Lovely acidity and good balance.
Has a great intensity and a very good balance between sweetness and acidity. Great wine.

Amazing acidity but also more dense than the 30YT. Quite complex showing orange peel, coffee and vanilla.
The alcohol is beautifully integrated and the acidity is very good. Overall, a great wine.

A classic and good interpretation of the 10Y Tawny. Despite the comments, I really like this wine..

Lovely balance and nicely integrated alcohol. A solid wine worth seeking out.

Sweet dried plum fruit. Quite dense and compact. Lovely balance and piercing acidity in the aftertaste that leaves a very good impression.
Lots of complex spices like wood, coffee, vanilla, orange, sewer and dirt.

Very dried and dense plum/blackberry fruit. Still with a huge acidity.
Lots of complexity with dark chocolate, candied orange peel, burnt dirt and coffee grounds.
An very lovely impression of this wine type! Lots of complexity but similar acidity that really improves the wine
