Flight 1 (3 notes)

White - Sparkling
N.V. Fallet-Prévostat Champagne Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut France, Champagne, Champagne Grand Cru
92 points
Silky and smooth, supple for an Extra Brut, relatively friendly and approachable for an Avize Grand Cru, but very pure and precise.
White
2011 Coche-Dury Meursault Les Rougeots France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Meursault
93 points
Open and spicy nose with classic Coche matchstick; full-bodied palate, good concentration, fleshy fruit (meyer lemon, but also tropical), ripe but fresh acidity, savoury oak, broad style; long and minerally finish, excellent persistence.
Red
1999 Domaine Marquis d'Angerville Volnay 1er Cru Champans France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Volnay 1er Cru
92 points
Pristine bottle, perfect level and cork. Fresh nose with mature aromas, rosehip and sous-bois; full-bodied and structured palate, rich flavours, good persistence with a touch of eucalyptus. Much better than the bottle tasted in 2017.
