2006 Domaine Robert Chevillon Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les Saint Georges France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru
93 points
Medium ruby, with slight fading edges. Pink floral and cranberry aromas, as well as some green fern. Rounded tannins, with a body that was rather substantial for Pinot Noir, and some good cranberry and blackberry fruit intensity, as well as rocket leaves and cloves. Still very fresh even after more than a decade. Nice!

1985 Château Haut-Brion France, Bordeaux, Graves, Pessac-Léognan
95 points
Medium ruby, good viscosity and extraction, and some fading on edges. Pronounced nose, with floral potpourri, nutmeg spices, and fine rolled cigar. Savoury on the palate but still a good sense of blackberry and cassis fruits, and extremely complex, with some undergrowth, cooking spices, and cigarbox. Long finish, alternating between dried flowers and smokes. Fabulous!

2010 Henri Bonneau Châteauneuf-du-Pape France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape
92 points
Deep purplish ruby, with lots of extraction. Aromas of ripe redcurrant and cassis, ans a slight chilly mint. Rounded tannins, but full bodied with good fruit intensity, with ripe, nearly candied cherries, cinnamon, and a hint of mushroom. A good length of rich sweetish fruits
