Flight 1 (3 notes)

White
2014 Alice et Olivier De Moor Chablis Bel Air et Clardy France, Burgundy, Chablis
94 points
Yellow-gold, youthful color; medium-plus aromatics, sulfur, hard to detect underlying notes but white fruit and lemon-lime?; palate is full bodied, medium-plus acidity, medium alcohol, really persistent acidity through the midpalate; long finish. This seems like a GC white burgundy, maybe 2014? Really nice showing for this wine on reveal. 94
White
2014 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Saint-Aubin Le Banc Blanc France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Saint-Aubin
91 points
Lemon yellow; too much sulfur and matchstick to assess the nose; palate is full bodied, richly textured, medium plus acidity, lemon-lime; medium finish. Guessing White Burgundy, slightly richer style, but hard to assess much beyond that. Nice tangy finish. 91
White
2006 Paul Pernot et ses Fils Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru
92 points
Tasted blind. Golden; aromatic, honey, orange blossom, pollen; palate is dry, medium-plus alcohol, medium acidity, some bitter extract and tannins through the midpalate, slight mint/menthol; medium finish. Aged white burgundy (before 2010), mid-tier vs. dry chenin blanc (2013-2014?). More likely white burgundy. This opens up a bit more with time. 92

Flight 2 (3 notes)

Red
2013 Dujac Fils et Père Morey St. Denis France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Morey St. Denis
93 points
Tasted blind. Light ruby; high intensity aromatics, complex wild strawberry, savory, intoxicating and wild aromas; palate is light bodied, high acidity, red fruited, superb balance, palate seems a touch unintegrated; finish is long, long. This is an excellent red burgundy. 93+
Red
2013 Domaine des Lambrays Morey St. Denis France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Morey St. Denis
93 points
Tasted blind. Light ruby; medium-plus aromatics with red fruit, interesting note of guava (highly unusual in a red wine), slight sweet spice like cinnamon; palate is light-medium bodied, plenty of red fruit, light tannins, elegant low-medium alcohol, medium-plus acidity with vibrancy throughout; finish is medium length and full of juicy red fruits. With 60 minutes of air this shows better and better. Lovely red burgundy. 92
Day 2: this has continued to evolve and improve. Even more complex aromatics today. 93
Red
2007 Domaine des Chezeaux Griotte-Chambertin Ponsot France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru
91 points
Tasted blind. Light ruby; aromatics with significant musk, blows off with some red fruit underneath; palate has some red fruit, medium bodied, medium acidity, kind of generic tasting; finish is medium length.
After 30 minutes in the glass, the musk blows off, and the underlying fruit is quite lovely and complex. 91
Day 2: this got a lot deeper and darker in aromas and flavor compared to yesterday. Palate still seems to be somewhat generic tasting, especially
Compared to these two village MSDs we have alongside it.
