Still quite closed down, but I think with a few extra years it will shed some of the tannins and become more accessible. Now I would recommend to decant this beauty for at least 3 hours.
Today just a Coravin Glass. After opening up, cherries, some bacon, slight truffles and umami dominate the bouquet. The palate is absolutely fresh with fine but demanding tannins. Great wine to stack away for your kids if born in this year.

This is still young but so much more open for business than the Asili drank side by side. Great bouquet of sour cherries, some mint, orange zest and benchmark rose pedals. The palate has a lot of sex appeal even if the tannins are rather intense at the moment. This Rabaja is allready a classic and will only become better with time.

Similar to my last tasting note, elegant and excellent Barbaresco from one of my favorite producers. The bouquet brings amarena cherries, flowers, alpine herbs, some tobacco and leather. The tannins are intense but quite refined. I think it needs another 5 years to reach maturity and can than be easily enjoyed over 1-2 decades.
