11/12. Pale/medium straw, Floral nose, touch of pear. Medium bodied, floral, a touch of weight with vibrant acidity carrying a medium/good length finish. Very good if lacking real excitement.

Slightly shy at first opening to show creamy strawberry fruit, spice, touch of soil. Some florality too. Medium bodied, sweet strawberry fruit, creamy quality, fresh acids, very good length harmonious finish. Drinking well.

Deep ruby core, pale ruby rim. Nose shows black fruits, floral notes, touch of grilled meat. Medium bodied, ripe bilberry fruit, quite sensuous, vibrant acids, finishes long. Lovely, no hurry.

3/6. Lovely, aromatic nose, purple fruits, violets, spice. Medium bodied, elegant, ripe purple fruits, spice, touch of savour, lean ish with crisp acidity on the slightly firm, good length finish.

Nose is a touch reticent, showing red fruits, earth. Medium bodied, red fruits, spice, earth, some savour, fresh acidity, good length finish. A touch elusive but shows plenty of promise.

This has a slightly constrained red cherry fruit nose, spice, earth, smoke, a touch herbal. Not as flamboyant as this wine usually is but still with plenty of interest. Medium bodied, red cherry fruit, soil, spice, vibrant acidity, quite linear, good length lightly gamey finish.

Flamboyant, ripe, pure strawberry and red cherry fruit, florals. Medium bodied, pure red fruits, light creamy edge, fine tannins, deep on the mid-palate and vibrant acidity carries a very good length, harmonious finish. Singing tonight.

Pure red cherries on the nose, soil, game - quite developed. Medium bodied, red and black cherries, spice, soil, vibrant acidity, medium/good length slightly firm finish.

Pale/medium garnet. Youthful, raspberries and cranberries, smoke, herbal. Medium bodied, quite lean and firmly tannic at thus stage, vibrant acidity, constrained on finish. Needs more time but the jury’s out on this one.

Lovely fragrant nose, strawberry fruit, florals, spice. Medium bodied, strawberry fruit, soft and “floaty” on the palate, touch of game, spice, vibrant acids, good length finish. Lovely.
