    February 14, 2024 - 12/12, good cork.
Pale/medium straw. Nose is fairly discreet, lightly creamy, pears, maybe a slight whiff of mineral as it warms. Medium bodied, pear fruit, with nice creamy weight now, floral notes, fresh/vibrant, lemony acidity, good length finish. This is doing nicely - showing no signs of falling over.

    December 19, 2023 - Excellent
I think this was best on the second night after exposure to air, gaining depth and breadth while retaining a mineral core.

    13% abv

    Empty bottle weight: 647g

December 30, 2022 - Intense lemony colour with a green streak
Citrus, white flowers and a hint of peaches on the nose
    Medium-high acidity
Honeyed notes on the palate and a long aftertaste
Very enjoyable to drink now but there is no rush

October 30, 2022 - A 2014 Villages white Burgundy drinking beautifully, punching above its weight. Mid gold. Appropriately oxidised - no indication of premox - drinking in its optimal window. Pears, peaches and nectarines, some minerality, no sign of oak. Lemon and lime citrus with some nutty complexity. Well balanced. Lovely acidic cut and focus. Alcohol 13% ABV. Sufficient volume and body. Good length. Not hugely detailed or nuanced, but delicious and everything you look for in a top Meursault Villages. Well cellared bottles should remain on the optimal plateau until at least 2032.

August 4, 2022 - Village Burgundy at 67PM (67 Pall Mall, London): 11/12. Pale/medium straw, Floral nose, touch of pear. Medium bodied, floral, a touch of weight with vibrant acidity carrying a medium/good length finish. Very good if lacking real excitement.
