Introduction
Some 20 fine Italian wines to taste, but only managed to note a few...
Flight 1 (5 notes)
Red
2015 Ridolfi Brunello di Montalcino
93 points
Pale garnet with orange edges. Musty to start, but develops into a floral, mossy nose, witb ripe red cherry. Tannins giving quite a bite while acids bright, with brooding yet tart red cherry, mint and liquorice. Lengthy, and complex with waves of florals and twigs, and tomato leaves. Nice!
