Introduction
Dank the following 1995 wines; Cheval Blanc, Chateau Margaux, Chateau Mouton-Rothschild, Chateau Haut Brion, Leoville Poyferre, Grand Puy Lacoste
Flight 1 - Cheval Blanc (0 notes)
Great balance, low acidity, sweep and ripe this full-bodied beauty had complex black fruit and java- 94 pts
Flight 2 - Marguax (0 notes)
Historically my favorite Chateau, the nose was licorice and violet with blackberry present on the palate. Integrated this classic sings gloriously-96 points
Flight 3 - Haut Brion (0 notes)
Prodigious and a 100 point wine this dark purple ruby tinted queen radiates grace and richness. So forward, I could chew the swet and balanced blend of grapes. Blackberry and vanilla with an amazing aroma, the balnce is so pure and sure.
Flight 4 - Mouton-Rothschild (0 notes)
Geat drinking now- this wine is a 97 pointer with layered depth and a lingering finish. Spice and smoke this wine is a winner.
Flight 5 - Leoville Poyferre and Grand Puy Lacoste (0 notes)
These two standbys sevred as a warm up for the big boys and they aquitted themselves as a classy cocktail hour.
The jammy Leoville the excellent aromatic Grand Puy Lacoste were knights to the royalty.
