White
2011 Aubert Chardonnay Lauren Estate Vineyard
93 points
Pop and pour from a magnum, drank a good-sized glass over 45 minutes. I was concerned due to the vintage, but this performed at my expectation level for an Aubert Lauren. There is a lot going on, supple and yet vibrant, green apple. The wood started to come out as I finished the glass, which made me think that you probably shouldn't hold any longer.
White - Sparkling
2013 Argyle Extended Tirage Brut
90 points
This bottle was consistent with past experiences. A pleasant sparkler with some chalk, minerals and a lot of pear. Nice to drink and overpriced, like everything from Argyle.
White
2013 Kistler Chardonnay Trenton Roadhouse
90 points
This is still nice, but it was considerably better 4 years ago from a normal bottle, and this was a magnum. Definitely oaky with butterscotch and golden fruit. If you have any, drink up.
Red
2012 Domaine du Pégau Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Réservée
92 points
Pop and pour. This had slight funk and a lot of earthiness, with strawberry, plum and some anise to round it out. This seems to be a young adult right now, I look forward to its maturity.

Red
2014 Archery Summit Pinot Noir Arcus Vineyard
89 points
A big, somewhat extracted and very earth pinot. The palate seems a bit tired. Probably past its prime.
Red
2016 Clos du Mont-Olivet Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Cuvée du Papet
88 points
This is a continuation of my belief that you should RUN away from any 100 point CDP. On release when the critics are reviewing them I suspect they show well because of all the fruit they possess. But with some age, there's nothing to back up all that fruit and you are left with a goopy mess.
Red
2006 Aubert Lucia Abreu Vineyard
92 points
Pop and pour from magnum, but I had my glass about 45 minutes after it was opened. Surprisingly soft for an Abreu vineyard. This is just a crowd-pleasing red that is pleasurable and tasty.
Red
2017 Carter Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon The G.T.O Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard
94 points
This did not see any decant, and frankly I don't think it needed it. There's a lot going on, nice relaxed tannins, red fruit, spice and earth. I think this is at peak and it will likely stay there for awhile, but I personally would not age this (or any Carter wine) for a long time.
