On the palate also very beautiful! White fruit, ripe, high acidity, lots of crushed stones, balanced, deep, dense and long. Lovely. 93-94

Bottle opened ~10h before the tasting. What an amazingly fresh and perfect bottle! Color was only slightly darker than the 2014. Nose was very similar, just a bit more complex and deeper. Yes, also a bit more mature, but I would never guessed 2004! On the palate an amplified version of 2014! Cool, tension, energy, just a bit of caramel. Complex and long! Full peak. 95-96. Danke Sebastian!!!

Bottle opened ~10h before the tasting. I was flashed from this vintage right after release and had high hopes. Not as exiting as expected, but very good. Clear, medium golden color. Fine, fruity, dense nose. On the palate smoky, salty, precise, deep and dense, with a nice tension and good length. Full peak. 92-93

Bottle opened ~10h before the tasting. Right after opening it showed the oxidative and ripe mellow apple notes, that I usually connect with PJK wines and that I don't like. During the tasting, it was a completely different wine and the first Schlehdorn I really liked!
Clea, pale golden color. A bit freaky nose, some acacia, floral notes. Complex and deep. On the palate very precise, mineral, nice energy and tension, fine herbs, some red fruit. Long and still young. 94+

Cool, precise, dense, power, energy and tension, with a tad more residual sugar and a wonderful smoky touch. Beautiful wine that makes soo much fun right now, but will stay on the level for quite some time. 94-95

Quite similar nose to the La Borne, just not as concentrated and complex. On the palate clearly Morstein and comparable to La Borne and Keller, just with a bit less energy and tension, a bit lighter. Nevertheless, beautiful. 92-93

Bottle opened ~10h before the tasting. Interesting to compare the two versions of Kirchenstück. It is a bit the comparison of a Mercedes SL with a Golf Cabrio. Solid, but rather bourgeoise and rustic. Certainly a very good wine, but lacks the finesse and elegance of Bürklin's version. 91-92
