Dark fruit, chocolate and coffee on the nose. Firm tannins, nice balance and complexity with some oak and vanilla, and a coffee, fruit finish that lasts for days. Can't wait to revisit my 2nd bottle in 4-5 years.

Potent aromas of black and blue fruits. Nice vibrant fruit in the mouth with a tannic zip. Some earthy components on the mid pallate. Surprised me in the blind tasting. Shut down somewhat after a couple hours. Excellent for under $10.

Some green on the nose, maybe stuffed peppers or asparagus. Interesting. More old world earth flavors in the mouth but some nice red fruit came out after a couple of hours. Dry, tannic finish. Very nice Italian blend for the price.

Not much to speak about on the nose... a little fruit with some oak and vanilla. Entry gives the impression of some possible fruit, but completely hollow on the mid-pallate with a bitter short finish. Pass.
