On the palate the initial impression was of fierce sour cherry, pomegranate, ripe raspberry, clove, cinnamon and impressions of blood orange. The wines acidity is huge, bordering on being out of balance. Medium bodied, big on the mid-palate. Congruent with the nose, as the wine breaths the flavor profile shifts to darker blackberry fruits.
