Decanted > 1 hour. Up against a Figgins 2012 Walla Walla red blend paired with Caeser salad and lasagne. This won the "Knight" (pun intended" of the reds. Very flavorful and rich. Mo has always delivered for our taste buds and this was a very delicious wine.

Decanted > 1hour. Paired nicely with lasagna but was not as flavorful as the 2015 Ayoub Mojo. We hadn't tasted this vintage for 5 years. Wine is maturing and still has time in the bottle. Drinking nicely right now if you are so inclined.

Opened and let breather >1 hour. Hints of minerality, wet stone & gravel but still the needed components for a great Chardonnay. Powerful and overshadowed a 2012 Figgins Red and a 2015 Ayoub Mojo. Didn't drink it with the lasagna but was the unanimous choice of the evening.

Decanted >2 hours. Had this alongside a 20 Booker Perl (91% Syrah) from Paso paired with Lasagna. The Saggi surprisingly was very thin with not much body. Still a good wine but was overwhelmed by the Booker.

Took to our club. It’s been almost 8 years since last tasting this vintage. We let the wine sit and open for about 45 minutes. Nice cherry juice with hints of vanilla and spice. I would start drinking this up. I see 3,500 bottles in cellars and wouldn’t wait much longer to drink or at least try if I had multiple bottles.

Short decant but drank over an hour+ in a blind side by side with a 13 Marcassin. Very gold and clear in color. Nose had notes of toast, lemon and peach. More citrus than the Marcassin. Initial taste in the mouth had a tangy, sour element that slowly went away as the wine warmed. A really delicious wine but that fought hard against a 100 point rated Marcassin.

Decanted about 30 minutes but drank slowly over the next hour or so. Did a blind side by side with a 13 Domaine Serene Recolte. In the glass, a beautiful medium yellow going towards fresh hay. The Recolte was much darker. On the nose, plenty of oak, lemon and tropical notes that continued to evolve with time in the glass. Beautiful juice and a long delicious finish. One of the best Chardonnay's I have ever had.

Popped and poured in Lake Arrowhead. Nose of cherry and hints of vanilla and spice. Mildly tannic but a nice balanced juice in the mouth. Good wine but definitely different than US PN's. Still young but a very nice wine.
