Perfect....Balance...Had a case, 3rd bottle opened...Drink it now it is perfection!
The wine looks purple colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It tastes like blackberry and light toast.

Wow....Perfect...Not many wines to equal this one. None I can think of near the cost of this one

Wonderful old World Chard...at the price of many commercial CA Oak Chip attempts

Great with a well seasoned steak and pasta with garlic and oil on the patio.
Drank tonight after the pleasure of a Larkmead Syrah 2008 last night. The Larkmead was a hedonistic treat to be remembered, but the Boom Boom gave great pleasure paired with the food tonight, and if I had spent on 1 bottle at a restaurant what the case of Boom Boom cost I would not have felt cheated!

Crisp, clean, reasonable fruit and complexity. Perfect with some salmon spread and a really good Gouda pre dinner

Direct from fridge, had a taste before adding to the cast iron skillet to finish off some Old Bay and Curry Shrimp. Nothing special at that point. What a difference 45 minutes makes in the glass. Opened up bursting with fruit and fresh scents followed by a wonderful finish. Perfect pairing with the curry, turning a snow covered December day into a breath of spring.

Over the hill. My Bad. Storage in it's mid years less than ideal.

Not Subtle. Nose of alcohol overwhelms the the underling fruit. A scent of a wet forest on a summer day. A big mouthful of rich velvet with a smooth blackberry taste. This seems to me like a love it or hate it kind of wine. I decanted for only about 30 min. and now after about 90 min. and 6 ozs. poured into a 29 oz. stem the scent mellows and softens as the alcohol fades closer to the taste of the wine. I love it. As much pleasure as many wines at 3 to 4 times the price
