Decanted and tasted over several hours. Musty nose on initial opening transformed after an hour or so in the decanter: barnyard funk, game, leather, smoke, and eventually some dark cherry notes. Mouth-watering acidity mellowed over the course of the evening, giving way to darker fruit with hints of tart cherry. Overall, an interesting and reasonably tasty bottle that really is more of an intellectual curiosity than a sensory delight.
