Over the top fruit - which is all you can taste.
Syrupy and port like in sweetness and consistency.
Time in a decanter did not not change this wine in the least.

Lower end of the "good" range. i would classify this wine as simple and lacking complexity. Red berry, cherry, and very little spice. Have 2 more bottle so will see if this was an anomaly.
