Absolutely perfect! Didn't need decanting - just perfect. Smooth and gentle - the Merlot coming through.

Wow. I wasn't sure how this wine would hold up after being shipped from Italy and stored all these years. It is perfect right now - at its prime. Meaty and dark with a smooth silky mouth. So glad it is cold and rainy I have a fireplace and a beagle to enjoy this wine with!

As fun as I remember it from the winery! Almost like an alcoholic strawberry wine cooler. Super fun on a HOT day in quarantine. Held up well at 13 celsius - way over the hill but did not taste old at all.

Fabulous for the price. The gold foil looks special for any occasion. Very dry and crisp with subtle citrus. Like opening a bottle of sunshine - really great for mimosas!

Delicious. Best in an icewater bath. Enjoyed slowly poolside while maintaining social distancing with friends. Crisp, bubbly, strawberry and a great lingering finish!

I was scared when I saw the drinking window for this 2010 ending in 2016. No way!! this is drinking so well. Dreamy dark fruit with a floral ending. The color is divine. I read the back label and David Tate says this can cellar for 10 years - well its 2020 folks and it is amazing!!

Ready to drink. Over powering for the ribs we smoked. Would serve with a steak or game next time. Tannic but smooth.

This was surprisingly good. Deep dark fruit but not overpowering "raisin" - really went great with chocolate dessert!

Still holding strong. A bit mellowed than I recall but very balanced and smooth as velvet. A nice bottle to drink on the first day of 2014.

Drinking a bit thin. Maybe age is not helping this wine. Nice when chilled. I taste pears and a mineral.

A bit of a barnyard smell and on palate. Light and easy to drink nice color but the rustic barn taste just stayed.

Better drink up - this wine is not holding up as well as the Zinfandels and Cabernets from this year. Lots of sediment - maybe thats where all the body went .....

A lot of tartarate crystals that I do not recall in others. Nice color and body but a bit off on the nose - almost a rotten fruit smell - taste was also off - may have been a bad bottle.

Thick and rich almost like hot chocolate in the winter. Still young even after decanting. Pride only gets better and better. Perfect for flank steak hot off the grill.

I almost feel this was just a touch "over the hill". Still excellent but missing that jubilant bounce of Turley. Drank very mellow and calm. The bouncy fruit like blackberry and boysenberry was replaced with a more mellow currant. If you have this bottle and tasted it before - time to drink up!

WOWWIE! This was so good we almost cried when the bottle was empty. Absolutely dark and rich. If you could literally put blackberry cobbler right out of the oven into a wine this was it. Jammy and a finish that you could not only taste but could actually feel. May not brush my teeth before bed to keep that finish!! One of the best wines we have had in years. i would recommend not to waste this on food. Open it with someone special and enjoy just as it is!!!
