I agree with others who commented. This is a solid medium-bodied wine that clearly has many complex fruit flavors in the smooth finish. For the first time in my life I tasted coconut in addition to fruit in the finish. Nice purchase!!

I disagree with the previous rating of 75. No, it’s not the best Aussie wine I have ever had. I used an aerator which opened it up and it was a decent compliment to my pasta with red sauce. It’s still young snd will improve with time.

The cork was difficult to remove due to age. However this wine still has life in it. It is complex, bright, fruit forward and has a great long finish. I wish I still had more.

CT recommended drinkin now a year ago. This bottle was stored in a wine fridge and was smooth all the way to the finish. Really a nice bottle.

Amazing wine that was extremely well-balanced. Just the right ratio between sweet and acid. Unique dessert wine that greatly exceeded expectations.

A little musty on the nose and a little brown in the color. Decanted it before drinking and it was surprisingly still very good. As it sat it gained character with increasing notes of cherry. I was afraid to open and was pleasantly happy.

Had it with pasta and vodka sauce. It was an immediate hit with the group of 6 . It had a strong fruit forward nose and long-lingering finish. Notes of cherry and vanilla..great wine.

Not as dry as cab franc can be. Quite fruit forward on the nose and the pallet. Berry in the smooth finish. Great quality and price.

A typical Aussie with tons of character. Fruit on nose, with spice and vanilla notes while drinking a long and smooth finish. Great drink for the low price.

The cork did not have much life left in it. The cork seal was intact but the bottom third was beginning to break up, so opening was a delicate exercise. Once open, we decanted for three hours. Initially, the wine was seemingly thin and lacking in character. However, after decanting, it opened up nicely and our dinner party raved about its smoothness. It was a little "earthy" but exhibited fine notes of berry with a nice long finish. I bought this expensive bottle in a charity auction and glad I used it now before the cork failed.

Honestly, I was disappointed. This was a good experience but not worth the price I paid. It lacked the strong character I was expecting. The nose was nice with berry and fruit. The wine did open up over time but I am afraid it has passed its prime already. It just does not show any intensity in any area.

Served for guests with Italian pasta meal. Opened 3 hours ahead and poured into decantor. Wine was really opened up-great floral aroma. Nice smooth and light tannins. Really worked well with the food. Not a real strong finish but decent.

For some reason, this bottle was so much superior to the other 5 we bought. Strong character influenced by oak and traces of vanilla with even tanins and a long finish

We liked this much more than other raters. We ran it through a Venturi to let it open up faster. This was fruit forward for a Bordeaux and has a decent finish .
