Great wine. A bordalais blend well done and ready to drink now. But if you are not in a hurry wait some years (4-8) more and drink it at the peak.

The best bourgundy style wine of Brazil (I call it of 'brazilian Volnay'). From the vineyards located at the 'Escudo Cristalino Sul Riograndense' - region of Encruzilhada do Sul/RS, the best place to produce red wines in the RGS (low rainnins/humidity and reasonable thermal amplitude).
Light red collor, tipical of the grape; matured red fruits aromas; good balance suitness X acidity; round, elegant and easy to drink. Congratulations Mr Danielle.

Vinho interessante. Diferente. Coloracao amarelada, turvo, com aspecto oleoso não filtrado/clarificado. Aromas a abacaxi (aluá) e pessegos maduros. Na boca, untuoso, de boa acidez e docura marcante, cítrico, com boa persistencia. Foi muito bem com uma moqueca de siri mole.

Great wine!!! A gift from the enologist Pablo Cuneo. Really a big surprise. Black opaque, black wild fruit at the nose, dense, elegant, rounded, perfect semblance beetween body, tanins, fruit and acidity. It will be last more than ten years ahead but is very difficult to wait so long.

Excelente vinho. Já evoluído, com quase 30 anos de guarda e apenas 11,5? de alcool. Aromas de favo de mel e especiarias... Elegante, como poucos que são feitos na atualidade. Um belo representante do Douro que encantou meu jantar de aniversário.

Simple wine. Not expressive one. Tight at nose with hints of white flowers and some citrus touch at the mounth with good acidity. Disapointed considering other wines produced in Provence.

Muito bom vinho. Lembra um bom bourgogne da Cote de Nuits. Elegante e sedutor, com aromas típicos da casta (groselhas maduras, bala de tuti fruti) e boa presença na boca. Amplo e untuoso, com taninos muito finos e macios, tem uma boa persistencia. Pode evoluir ainda com + tempo de garrafa. Uma bela e grata surpresa da região de Pfalz, SW da Alemanha.

Unfortunately Declined now after a past of explendor. Closed at aromas, not vibrant anymore, a little bit oxidated... Passed out. I will try another harvest, younger than 2007-2009.

Belo vinho. Aos 11 anos mostra-se muito equilibrado e sedutor. Perfeita harmonia entre acidez, doçura, adstringencia (taninos), fruta e alcool. Foi perfeito com um pernil de cordeiro e papardelle idem. Foi o destaque do jantar em meio a cabernets e merlots chilenos.

Not really a good Barca. Maybe a regular Reserva Especial Ferreirinha. Nothing else. Was good with a lamb rib roasted and papardelle al sugo. An elderly wine with few years ahead. I prefer other good harvests. Expensive, even if bought in Lisboa (115?) - didn't worthwile. 87 pts.

Very good wine. Leather, pepper and smoke meat mixed with violets and red fruits at the nose. Matured. Rounded and freshness at the mouth. Well balanced. Good surprise in Brazil and new world's CF. Old fashion, and european style. Ready to drink now and some 3-5 years ahead.
