A superb champagne, one of the absolute best from this small producer in Grand Cru Chouilly. Blanc de blanc, from old vines in Chouilly only, multi-vintage from 2000, 2001 and 2002. Complex and aromatic, works beautifully with mozzarella and tomato as well as grilled duck breast and vegetables. What a perfect evening!

This vintage champagne was not produced in 1996. RL Legras produces the vintage Saint Vincent in exceptionally good years (like 1996, 2000) and Presidence in good vintage years (like 1998, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2007).
