I think this is past it's prime. Classis Pinot color but the acidity was a little overpowering and the fruit was ok but not where it needed to be to handle the acidity. Just not balanced

Very nice layers of fruit. Bright fruit at first followed up by dark fruit. Nice example of this type of wine.

Great body and acidity. Multiple layers of stone fruits. Some grapefruit on the back end. The palate is where the cirrus component shines. This wine is very fruit forward but balanced. Nice example of the varietal.

Fresh and lively with good body for a rose. This wasn't just strawberry on the nose. There were some good secondary aromas of other berries and just a hint of dust or something like that. One of the best roses I've tried

way past its prime. bottle was "lost" in the cellar. really only opened it to see what happened to it. It was drinkable, but barely. Suprisingly the fruit was still there, but there was no tannins at all, so no structure, and the finish was pretty bad. Maybe if i had drank this wine in the first few months of bottling it would have been alright.

Dark fruit on the nose. alcohol covers up the fruit a bit. As it opens up some of the secondary aromas come out, leather, tobacco, maybe some black licorice. Mouthfeel is very huge, coats my palate. Those secondary aromas are intensified on the front end. The alcohol overwhelms the back end and the finish.

One of the better Pinot Grigio's i've tasted, and at this price it's great. There seems to be some oak, but not overpowering at all. On the nose there is some tropical fruits, pineapple etc. There is a slight bubble gum, or smoothness, i think from the oak. There is maybe just a little too much alchohol on the nose, but it's not evident on the palate. Mouthfeel is very nice, light-medium bodied and very smooth. This is one of the best Pinot Grigio's i've had and may become my go-to value white.

nice, burgundians style californian pinot. This opened up on the 2nd day. There is really good fruit, not jammy, but austere if that makes sense. I liked this alot on day 2, so imagine i drank it a little too young.

This was good, but i expected better, 2000 was supposed to be such a stellar year you would think that maybe some good fruit would have found it's way into this bottle, it wasn't bad, but not what i expected. Nothing special, nothing that stuck out as exceptional, just ordinary. For the price there are much better bottles out there.

I really liked this, lots of fruit, typical cab flavor profile, layers of complexity that you would expect from a 20-40 dollar bottle of napa cab. This is a good wine to have around.

This was a nice Vinho Verde, crisp, with just a slight hint of frizante. Nice crisp lime and other citrus fruits on the nose, great value for a summer sipping wine.

Beautiful Pinot. Cherry up front with good acid and a nice amount of oak to balance things out. Excellent balance. Fruit forward wine but crisp fruit not jammy, and like i said before balance is the key word here.

Good effort, classic cab flavors and aromas, but nothing stood out as exceptional. This fell apart with time in the glass after 1.5 hours the fruit was gone. Not as good as the '01

This smelled of lemons and stinky feet. Maybe my palate has just not evolved far enough to appreciate sauternes, but i couldn't get past a sip or two of this wine, there was no improvement with time in the glass, as i tried it numerous times throughout the evening and also the next morning.

This wine needs to be decanted now, probably drank a little young, but with some air it opened up very nicely. Black cherry fruit dominated, but some cola was also there. Good tannins and acidity will allow this wine to hold up for a few more years, good QPR.

Slight barnyard on the nose, but backed up by plenty of fruit. Not super ripe, jammy fruit, more austere. In the mouth this has good acidity, medium bodied. I like this, but the nose put me off at first. The barnyard is not blowing off with time, so it's different but in an interesting way.

Nose of grapefruit and green apple. I'm not getting the minerality that others have commented on. I also feel that it isn't all that acidic. Definantly not enough to make you pucker. A decent effort, but i've had better. Seems to be opening up a little with time in the glass. I would look forward to a little herbaceousness with a Sauv Blanc, and i just didn't get it with this one, and that's what kept me from giving it a higher score.

Classic Chardonnay varietal character. This wine is an excellent value. Great nose, and good mouthfeel. No oak at all, but this is not a light weight wine. Might have drank this a little early, but it was enjoyable. Fruity, but not really citrusy, some floral undertones that were very nice.

Light and lots of fruit. This was a good year for Beaujolais, and this wine does not disappoint. Good acidity, fresh, vibrant and mouth watering. Fruit is a little bit muted at first but the berries and cherry come through. Not much else on the nose. Great mouthfeel to this, not a super long finish, but this is a light -medium bodied wine.

Decent fruit on the nose, a little hot. Nothing to write home about, on the palate the fruit seemed muted. Tannins were firm and a little grainy. An acceptable wine for the price, but nothing special.

This wine started off good, nice fruit (classic chardonnay) with a small amount of oak to round things out nicely. As time passed this bottle declined, and the fruit started to dissapear. By the end the fruit was muted and the oak came through. This wine might have been good 2 or 3 years ago, and was past its prime as far as i am concerned. When i tasted this a year ago at the winery it was better than it was now a little over a year later.
