a bit past it's peak but still a powerful wine-fruit a bit muted now as is the nose but still body and depth. perfect with game

This was a wonderful bottle- it really opened up and showed real balance and good fruit. Color did show its age a bit. I hadn't tried this wine for about 2 years-the last bottle I thought was showing its age. But this was right at its best.Enjoy.
