Consistent with my previous note; Just so airy and floral on the palate, with a lovely melange of dried red fruits, earth and minerals; Love this stuff

5/9/16, 6:04 AM - I believe it's about 13% ABV; I can find it in the U.S. for about $35, which to me is a great value for the quality

The nose is quite savory, with notes of green pepper, herbs and smoky bacon, while the palate is fairly elegant, with some pleasant dark fruits integrating with the more savory elements; Not the most complex Wind Gap I've had, but quite tasty

7/26/15, 3:33 PM - Frank - This is my first time trying this vintage, and my guess is that it's reached a plateau in its evolution and complexity, although I don't think it will necessarily go down hill right away either; If you only have one bottle left, I would recommend drinking it in the relatively near-term; If you have multiple, it would be interesting to see where it is in a few more years; Also note that I did not decant, so it's possible that would have changed my perspective

Definitely on the ripe and generous side, with a big palate of sweet blackberries and vanilla, but remains in balance with some firm acidity and tannins; An easy-drinker that I enjoyed which may pick up some complexity over the next few years

Slightly closed off right now, but you can tell there's excellent underlying material; The palate is very dry, with hints of salted caramel, pear and beeswax, with a medium-to-full body that still feels light on its feet; There is terrific acidity on the finish, with lingering notes of wax and saline
