Fantastic leather and tobacco nose. Taste lacks depth and is a bit underwhelming. Thicker viscosity, which adds a velvety mouth-feel. Soft tannins. More for the Zin drinker than Cab. Would likely please a group and is priced nicely.

This is an interesting wine. After opening, re-corked, and opened up the next evening, there was a very strong nose of carmel...even carmel popcorn and butter. The mouthfeel is very thin and there's not much of a finish. It's interesting for the price, however this is not one of the finer Trader Joe's masterpieces.

Round texture with a medium finish - Needs awhile to open up. Wonderful with aged Gouda. Gets a bit silkier and gains some vanilla after opening up. Soft tannins. As with most cabs, recommend a cheese or food paring.
