Pretty disappointed given the price point of this wine. Complete lack of fruit, balance and structure. Still pretty tannic, but I just can't envision it improving much with age.

11/6/15, 8:06 AM - If you attempt to aerate or decant these young Nebbiolo for any period of time they will shut down completely. If you drink them young they need to be pop/pour. Traditional Barolo/Barbaresco don't behave like other varieties - they're a different paradigm.

Tasting room pour(s). Deliciously layered GSM with exceptional balance but what really stands out is the great purity and textural elegance of this wine. Good depth of juicy raspberry and tangerine fruits, crushed violets, and fine powdered sugar type tannins add to the allure. Very silky and seductive feminine styling is on full display here. This juice is completely seamless and drinking very well now. Lovely and irresistible. 92-94

For other readers, pretend this is in bold font and underlined. Describing the progression and texture of a wine can be really difficult through text but I can't overstate how well constructed this wine is. I found the Sensibility particularly noteworthy (bought a bottle) when I visited over a year ago.

It's a very alluring wine indeed and an exceptional representation of Grenache from the area (75% Grenache, GSM). There are also some wonderful baking spice notes (including some brown sugar) that are layered on the palate and contribute to the femininity of the wine. Very expressive and harmonious on the palate while maintaining some degree of restraint.
