Originally from South Africa, the Pinotage was created in 1992 by crossing the Pinot Noir with Hermitage thus becoming the emblematic grape country. Here, she makes up the assemblage with Shiraz, one of the older varieties, which conquered space due to its easy adaptation and striking features, such as its robustness and spice notes.
Comment Sommelier:
Aroma of ripe red fruit with an elegant smoked vanilla notes, hunting and a touch of chocolate. The 14 months in barrels of French and American oak give it body, acidity and tannins striking.

A good but not outstanding. Citric, not excess acidic, flavor. Aroma is cherry and a bit of lemon-lime. It harmonizes well with pizza, pasta, poultry, fish, so on.
