Fantastic bubbly, almost rose in the glass and very effervescent. Light fruity nose with a sweet crisp taste and wonderful finish.

Pulled and let it breathe for about 30 minutes in a cooling sleeve. Thick straw color in the glass with a light floral nose. Classic buttery Cali taste with hints of pineapple and melon, great complexity and a smooth finish. Fantastic, classic chardonnay.

Dark cherry in the glass with no noticeable nose (maybe it was me). Great legs and clear texture. Beautiful jammy taste, hints of cherry, flowers, pepper and a smooth tart finish. Very, very good and improved as it breathed. I regret not having more.

The time in the cellar definitely helped and this pinot is fantastic now. Garnet colored in the glass with a light floral nose. Hints of cherry but not too fruity and a fantastic pinot finish. Loved it and wish I had more.

Light floral hints amd bright amber in the glass. A creamy, buttery classic cali chard with hints of melon and grapefruit. A very smooth finish but this iteration lacked some of the complexity of other Kistler chards. Very nice and if you are looking for a great chard that doesn't overwhelm, this is a great choice.

Close to perfect Zin, jammy with hints of pepper and cherry not overwhelming, perfectly balanced to go with anything (consumed with bar-b-que) with a smooth finish.

My second bottle and this one had a hint of sediment in it. Very inky in the glass with a strong fruity nose. Still very jammy but the hints of pepper are really starting to fade and overall the wine has flattened out. Suggest you drink now.

Decanted for 2+ hours, slight sediment in the bottle. Dark red in the glass with great legs. Chocolate and cherry with a great finish. Possibly going past its peak and suggesting to drink now.

Inky in the glass, with a light nose and excellent legs. Classic zin tastes of jam and pepper with hints of cinnamon, tobacco and chocolate. No real change as it breathed and still very good but possibly this is sliding past its peak so recommending to drink now.

Floral nose and amber in the glass. Sweeter than expected for a fume blanc and lacking mineral hints and grassiness. Disappointing.

The wine has a beautiful garnet color, light in the glass with almost no legs. The nose was light with hints of fruit and minerals. A light fruity taste that is tart and not sweet and a smooth texture. The finish is long and the wine really improved with air and I probably opened this years to soon. A very nice Pinot.

I really like the wines from D'Alfonso and Curran but this wine is shockingly bad. The color was a light brownish red, light in the glass with a light nose with hints of acetone. The tastes are so mixed, fruit and bitterness and a sickly sweet finish that makes it all but undrinkable. We had two bottles and both tasted identical, glad I had only two.

Light to the nose and light amber in the glass. Very crisp, like an apple going from green to red. Great finish. More complexity than a Sav Blanc, very nice wine.

Light and fruity nose and very inky in the glass. Tastes of cherry and root beer with a tart finish. A bold and complex pinot that really opened up as it aired. Wish I had more.

Thick amber in the glass with a very light floral scent. The initial impression is one of lemon with lots with orange and cucumber and an underlying tone of butter. The finish had a citrusy bitterness like lemon pith which weakened with time and exposure to air. Lots of complexity as a typical Kistler chardonnay exhibits without the usual minerality. And definitely not a California butter bomb.

Amber in the glass with a light floral nose. Smooth buttery oak flavors mixed with mineral tartness. Hints of melon and grapefruit and has a very full finish. Excellent iteration of a great CA chardonnay.

Poured through a venerator into the decanter and allowed to breathe for an hour or so. Dark red with fantastic legs. Has a nose of cherry and chocolate that was light and not overbearing. Fruity with hints of oak, tobacco, black currant. Excellent finish and drinking well now. Being possibly over critical, lacks a level of complexity and earthiness and that keeps it just below 90, but still a very nice Napa cab.

A brilliant CA chardonnay. Oaky, floral with a rich honey smoothness. Less mineral crispness than other appellations but still with a strong finish.

Flavors of cherry, cranberry with hints of rose and chocolate in this surprisingly complex pinot. As it breathed the crispness faded and it became more balanced and less fruit forward. The aroma was light and fruity and it was inky purple in the glass. A very nice wine that should work well with any food.

Opened and decanted for 3 hours. Bottle had significant sediment on the bottom. Dark, inky red to the pour and scents of cherry and oak. Black currant with hints of chocolate, smoke and cherry. Good but not great and not up to par with Napa style cabs.

Possibly the most complex and beautiful wine I have ever consumed. Creamy yellow in the glass with a light floral nose. Present are tastes of pineapple, honeydew melon, orchids, custard and hints of oak. A perfict balance of acidity and a fantastic finish. Desperately seeking more bottles.

Salmon pink in color. Hints of strawberry to the nose, very light. Tastes of cherry, rose petals, peach and mellon all very crisp with an excellent finish. Can feel the alcohol in the roof of the mouth, balanced to the wine. A very unique rose, an outstanding wine.

A very floral nose with a crisp taste, strong apple with hints of pear and melon. Excellent finish with no bitterness. The strength of the crispness / apple reduced with air and became very smooth. A very nice Sav Blanc.

Ran thru a vinerator into a decanter. Dry and light with hints of cherry and cassis. Smooth finish in the top of the mouth. Tried again an hour later and it was smoother with less oak, overall a good red blend that is not overbearing.

A nice light nose, apple with hint of oak. Smooth tastes of apple, pear with a balance of acidity to make a nice layered chardonnay. Paired with a range of seafood and the wine really opened up with air and as it warmed in the glass.

Pulled and poured, dark and inky in color for a pinot. Brilliant nose with lots of fruit and hints of oak. Tastes of black currant, strawberry with hints of chocolate and rose. Enough tannins to balance. The complexity improved with air, overall a better pinot than expected and may even improve some with time.

Very fruity nose with hints of acetone. Can feel the alcohol in the back of the mouth. Very woody and tastes much more like a port than a Zin. Disappointing and lacks the body to improve with age.

Checked at opening and then ran thru a vinerator into the decanter for an hour. The change was impressive as it moved from sharp to smooth. A very complex nose with fruit and hits of chocolate. Earthy taste but remarkably light for a cab. Hints of strawberry with a smokey, smooth finish. Continued to develop and became drier and smoother with time.

Everything i like in a chardonnay, buttery with lots of oak. Beautifully layered with melon and a hint of citrus. The alcohol hits the back of the throat for a strong finish with no after taste. Added to my "wishlist". Ready to drink now.

This has been a very inconsistent wine, this bottle was a very nice. Very fruit forward, earthy tones with a light balanced nose. The finish is sweet and you can taste the alcohol in the roof of your mouth. Overall a good not great Syrah blend, would rate at 86.
