Already fruit and super finish. One of the best efforts of this winemaker of dubious reputation

Light bodied as Germans can be. Fresh and great mouthfeel with good finish

Oh what a disappointment. Great example of a soulless cabernet from California! Drank it after a 2001 Optimus (L'Aventure) and the lack of finish and blance was just too obvious. I am clearing my cellar of these mediocre overprice Cali cabs. Keep the likes of Pahlmeyers and Caymus, but this just does not cut it for me.
Red
disappointing, like most clarendon hills in my opinion. lots on the nose but no complexity or finish. Overpriced and overrated
Red
smooth as glass, what a great easy to drink wine 90 pts

Tried to like it, but to no avail. Great nose, but too tannic for me and a disappointing finish.
White
Fresh on the nose with floral hints. Very refreshing wine with hardly any oak (thank you) and nice finish. Even better when it opened up more and drank it the next day. Rate 90 points.

A bit tannic and short on finish. Did not seem to open up.

Nice example of a good California Cabernet. Not big on "soul", but stylish, soft and smooth. It's what to excpect of a good Cali Cab.
