From magnum. After reading some pro tasting notes I feared I had waited too long. The first sniff after popping the cork laid that fear to rest. The fruit was just right, not over-extracted like some trendy Cali pinots and not as dry as some Burgundies often are. Well balanced and complex. Lingering finish. A very well crafted wine.

This is a BIG pinot. A beautiful wine that opens fairly quickly with a generous bouquet. Highly extracted but not overly so, exhibiting lush fruit, layers of flavors and a velvety smoothness. Medium long finish. I can't imagine anyone disliking this wine.
