A lithe expressive wine that struts it's pedigree when given plenty of air. While on the lighter side, it's depth and complexity leave little doubt of it's original market intention . An elegant wine. Outstanding QPR and a nice change of pace.

I think this has good potential. For my palette, at this point in time, the wood was too dominant. Everything else is there as expected. Good power for a merlot. For me, this just needs time.

Big departure from previous vintages. Really soft and easy. Lacks the cut and class for Canoe Ridge Estates and the hyped 2012 vintage.

Not sure what to make of this. First glass was really good. Very good aromatics. Deep, dark color. Decent complexity. Mouth feel was a little strange with a carbonated, effervescence tingle. Didn't care for the rest of it, weird.

A nice wine. Had two tastes at xmas. Someone brought a 1.5L 2012 Andrew Will Sorella, which after a taste I went running back to get a glass of only to find it gone. My Heitz was an acceptable consolation.

Great second bottle wine. Good concentration, smooth mouth feel, nice finish. Not a lot of complexity but strong in all other aspects. Dry. Tough to find Goldschmidt in WA. Should of bought a case.

Outstanding nose. Bigger than I anticipated with good complexity and sense of place. Throwing lots of sediment.

Went well with Italian food and friends. Good concentration, smooth mouth feel, and integration of oak. Would buy again. Finishes short.

A very good merlot. 28% Seven Hills vineyard. Tannic. Had years left in it. Darkest cork I've pulled in a while. Hard to beat the price.

Pnp at restaraunt. Tough to find this wine. Has potential but needs time. 90ish but waiting. Very drinkable but has a tannic tail that needs to mellow.

Outstanding. Color was medium purple. Lighter than I expected but still appropriate. Wine seemed thick. Bouquet was a nice mix of fruit, earth, and pencil lead. Big mid palate- very much like the 2007 full pull and friends. A douple gulper. Texture was silky. Finish was very long.

Good. Nothing wrong but not my type of wine. Followed over 3 nights.

Too acidic at this point. Followed over 2 nights. Never really came together and didn't hold up well. It's drinkable but I'm slightly dissapointed with the case purchase at this point. 2010's should be long lived. I'll try it again in a year or two.

Good. Amazing how much better the 2007 was compared to this or the 08.

I thought it was complex, smooth, deep, and nicely oaked. I agree with some, it's a little soft and easy but still a very nice wine.

Last bottle - still going strong. Consistantly good over the last couple of years. Deep flavors from some of the higher end vineyards with just a kiss of oak. Wondering why I didn't buy more. 90.

Nice smell with a good smooth fruit taste. By night two, this was falling apart. Sediment was minor and limited to last sip of the bottle. Should of drank younger.

Very good to excellent given it's price. While the fruit is nice, it doesn't overwhelm. The mouthfeel is smooth and silky. The Taste is pleasant throughout with moderate alcohol. It has a nice right bank finish. I'm sure it has a few flaws but given it's price it's a definite re-purchase.

First Malbec. I liked it and plan to buy more. Only negative and this is minor, not sure about the mouthfeel after the fact. Wife thought it was strong but listed at 13.5%. Opened an hour ahead of time.

Brought to dinner with family. Everybody liked it. I uncorked it a couple of hours ahead of time. I would buy more If I ever see it again around $10.
