Beautiful wine. Very umber in color like a typical older Italian wine, Big but with balanced fruit. Opened up to a very nice complex enjoyable wine. Flavors or cherry and berries, plum, tobacco, cedar, earth. Great length and complexity. Sangiovese at its best.

The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like black currant (cassis) and light toast.

Very big "Monster" upon opening, needs an hour or two to calm down. Once it calmed down it was a very smooth full bodied gem.

Drank over 3 days, got much better on day 2 and three. Had some funky aromas and flavors upon opening almost like cardboard, after about an hour most of the funk had dissipated, and the fruit began to come back to life and continued to get more lively over the entire 3 days.

Very nice syrah, beautiful bouquet with lots of dark berry aromas and a hint of spice and earth. Lots of dark berry fruit on the palate also, but is lacking the complexity of other flavors I expected from the bouquet. Medium finish. A very nice bottle for the price

This is an very beautiful wine, we opened it up about 30 min prior to dinner and was expecting a very tight closed off bouquet, but was completely stunned by the beautiful complex aromas in the glass bright red fruits with notes of caramel and a tiny bit of that dark muddy water smell that so typical of big Italian wines.

And then thing just got better from there. Our dinners were wildly varried from a heavy bolognese sauce to picata but the wine paired brilliantly with all. And after the entree's were finished we all sat back and marveled at the fact that the wine was as enjoyable without food, as it was with.

Very beautiful dark red color with a deep dark fruit bouquet very balanced and equally complex. This was quite a delightful unexpected surprise after the having my first bottle 2 years ago and gunshot it very disjointed and thin

very light and fruity. Almost limits like, very unlike a zinfandel. It was quite a disappointment, but still an enjoyable bottle.

Beautiful deep rich color, much darker than a typical cali pinot, bouquet is full of cherry and earth. Wouldn't really call this Burgundy-like but has a very nice balance of new & old world style. Lots of ripe Cherry with a good dose of terrior mixed in. Very complex flavors for a California pinot. Outstandingly well balanced.
