If fruit bomb is your style this wine rips it. It pours in a thick, glass staining inky purple that coats the glass. Dark fruit on the nose with little to no oak. This wine has balance with nice acidity and a 30-45 second finish. Mouthfeel is great and really hits all partsd of the pallete. I opened this and let decant in bottle for about 4 hours and I can honmestly say I feel no alcohol even though this is 15%. Seek this out if you like structured fruit bombs I really think you will enjoy this. Cheers.

Had this wine for my birthday. Decanted for about an hour. In my opinion its an old world style. Didnt find this to be a fruit bomb but instead thought it had more bordeaux style balance and restrain. Dark fruit on both the nose and pallete with nice acidity and bitter chocolate on the end. Expected this wine to have a longer finish than it did. (maybe 15 seconds). However I did enjoy the wine but if you are into more of fruit bomb style then I recommend the regular Justin Cabernet Sauvignon.

I am currently on a spanish wine bender and was looking for a tempranillo. A worker there recommended I try the rockaway. Even though I am trying to shift from fornia he said he weould give me the bottle for $30 from $50. Sold. Took this home and decanted for 2 hours. This wine smells great. tons of dark fruit and not oaky at all. This has great mouthfeel and az nice finish. my only qualm is that personally I thought it was a bit hot on the finish at 15.4% alcohol. However its not over the top sweet and I wouldnt havew regretted paying full pricde for this wine. Reminded me alot of CLIO from Jumilla. However I thoguht the CLIO was better balanced. Cheers.

I am starting to get into spanish wines and decided to give this a try after seeing that this bottle had some age on it. For the price tag of $10 this wine has a very very good QPR. Initially when open the wine smelled very candylike. After about 20 minutes the nose really tamed down with cherries and some dark fruit present. Good mouthfeel with notes of fig and dark chocolate. Really enjoying for the price paid. Cheers.

Im a new world wine drinker but tend to stick to cabernets that are not over the top. I decided to spin the dice and picked up this bottle of 08 Clio. This is a great wine. AS soon as I opened this it smelled great. Poured into a decanter and let sit for two hours. So much fruit but not sickening sweet like some other new world bombs that I have had. This wine has initial upfront fruit then transitions into a nice mellow finish with no sign of alcohol or a fake taste. Overall really happy that I found a fruit bomb wine that I can enjoy when I feel like one. Cheers

I thought this wine was a great for the $20. Really easy drinking and light. Nose had mellow red fruit and the palate had alot of cherry and wasnt bombarded with oak. Would buy again. Cheers

I bought this wine for my dad as a christmas gift. He tends to like fruit forward wines and based on research went with this wine. Im not a fruit bomb fan but had a glass with him to see what it was like, The nose is very dark with both blue fruit and chocolate. Taste is black fruit and chocolate all day long. This wine has very high alocohol level i want to say its around 16.5% if i remember correctly. However the the sweet fruit beginning balance with the alcohol and bitter chocolate really nicely. Wouldnt buy for myself but I can appreciate this wine for what it is. Cheers.

I Liked this wine. It was my first K Vinters wine and based on the hype I was really looking forward to it. I popped it and let it open in bottle for about two hours. I liked the nose. I was getting red fruit and some earth. Strawberry on the palate and a nice finish. I have another bottle and cant wait to open it with family and friends. Cheers.

This was my first "Big Time" napa cab. By that I mean a wine that costs over $60. Everyone that knows wine or is new to wine reads about Cakebread Cellars. I tried this wine and the first thing that hit me was that this was a complete package wine. between smell and taste everything seemed to mesh and it clicked that this was what a quality wine tastes like. A great experiene and also a great first bottle of exemplary Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Cheers

This wine was very good. Smelled dark fruit without hardly any oak which was nice. I am used to drinking alot of fruit forward wines and this was definetly not you normal napa wine. I totally agree when I hear some people say this will appease to new and old world drinkers. Purchased for $45 dollars and wint hesitate to buy this again for a special occasion.

Im a huge cabernet fan and always wanted to try a Silver Oak. I decided to splurge on day because I think there is something to be said to try a wine you always wanted to taste. Smelled really nice when I opened the bottle. Nice fruit and I personally thought it smelled buttery. Let it open up for about 2 hours and when i tasted it the taste didnt live up to the way it smelled. I couldnt justify spendind $60 on this wine again. just tasted boring. at least now i can say i tried it. cheers.
