Supposedly this was now past the drinking window by a year or two but you'd never know it.
Truly subtle and went GREAT with the appies including the cheeses I bought, especially the goat based 'pyramid' one that had a hint of blue cheese, as well as the others. Most of the guests couldn't really appreciate it since they're more into wine.
White - Sweet/Dessert
2003 Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey Sauternes Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend (view label images)

Can't remember if I'd already has a couple, which must be the case since I had 10 when I took this one but my guess is the previous two were drunk too young. This one was really nice indeed, went very well with the dessert tarts.

Still drinking very well, am reminded why I searched this wine out as a Spec Order after first having it at Rimrock

Has aged quite nicely indeed. I now know why I got a case of this after first tasting it I think at Rimrock.

Both bottles were truly awesome, such complexity of boquet and taste, great terroir, etc.
Everyone LOVED these.
