Just drank our last bottle of this. Tasted far younger than it was. Very nice — I wouldn’t have guessed it was a village-level wine, let alone that it was 17 years old.

I’m a huge fan of Anthill Pinot, and have quite a lot in my cellar. But most of them are decidedly *not* weeknight-dinner price. At $19-$20, this is though. The QPR is very high. Fairly light, not too fruity, some cherry, reasonably long taste. Nothing really to write home about, but really extraordinary for the price for Sonoma Pinot. A fabulous wine for dinner.

Extremely good California Chardonnay for the price — $19. Well balanced, good fruit and minerality.

I've had this repeatedly, and always enjoyed it. Not fabulous wine, but a great weeknight Nebbiolo...

We drank this the same night as an 08 Tina Marie; this took second fiddle, but was still beautiful. A bit bigger and less dictate than the TM.

Fabulous. Decanted. Some spice, beautiful nose and taste.

EXCELLENT cab; great mouth, fullness, legs. Spicy. Will only get better for the foreseeable future....

We drank this wine over two nights; it seemed as good or better the second. It was very fruit forward, but quite complex. It went fabulously with a southern-Italian pasta-and-eggplant dish. Cheap and cheerful dinner wine.

Perfectly pleasant weekday food wine; good for the price, but nothing special.

Pleasant but a bit over the hill, and not as good as I'd hoped.

Perfectly pleasant if not outstanding pinot; I tend to disagree with the earlier tasting notes.

A great everyday wine with food; nice tannins but not too overwhelming, medium body; great for the price!

Drank this with a bunch of elegant Burgundies, and the contrast was stark. This is very American -- huge, fruity, etc. That said, we thought it was quite good.

Stunning gewurtz for the price; the age was ideal, and it had a great minerality without being too sweet.

Still way too young, but shows great promise.

I've had BS rose many times, and have always enjoyed it. I'd let this bottle age for 4 or so years, which I'd never done before to NV Billecart-Salmon; it improved on an already- fabulous bottle. The color is beautiful, the taste subtle, and the bubbles danced in the mouth.

I've now served this several times, and everyone to whom I've served it -- myself included -- has simply adored it. Zero dosage, pinot meunier -- just as it should be.

Shockingly good; I had not intended to age this this long, and had been worried that it had turned -- but it was perfect.

A very nice, eminently drinkable, food-friendly red Rhone. Nothing too fancy or special, but a great every day bottle.

Very nice mid-tier Willamette pinot. But young; I expect this will be in peak shape in 4-5 years.
